Managing Your Own Career
It used to be that you could rely on your employer to take responsibility for managing your career – or at least helping you to manage it. There were straightforward career paths established, and it was clear how to move from one step on the career ladder to the next.
But times have changed. You can no longer rely so heavily on your employer to manage your career. With less job security than we have known for many years, and increasing pressure to deliver, you need to utilise and develop your own talent ever more effectively, building on your strengths and talents.
This workshop will help you take charge of your career. It will help you identify what it is you want from your career, how to optimise your potential within your current role, and how to build your capabilities to prepare you for future roles. You will engage with some BIG questions, and come up with your own answers.
-
-Where am I now?
-
-What does my employer want from me?
-
-Where do I want to be?
-
-How will I get there?
At the end of the workshop, you will have more clarity about what you want from your career, and feel more able to take the lead in managing it.
Your facilitators have each done exactly that. Each of the facilitators has regularly and systematically reviewed her own career and answered each of these big questions. Each of the facilitators has helped many others engage with the same big questions. Each of the facilitators is therefore extremely well placed to lead you through this same process.
Can you afford to leave your future in the hands of fate? Or do you want to take charge of your own destiny? Attend this workshop and take your future into your own hands.
